The Alternative is a Low Energy Nuclear Reaction (LENR) which results in the extraction of enormous amounts of energy from hydrogen, at a fraction of the cost of generating energy today and produces no CO2 or harmful nuclear byproducts. The hydrogen atom has vast potential energy. Utilizing the process of LENR, we can tap the potential.
It is far more powerful than any known chemical reaction and has between 100,000 to 1,000,000 times the power density of any of today’s combustion energy processes.
To put this into perspective, utilizing this process, the hydrogen contained in one cup of water can be used to generate enough energy to heat and power 3,000 average size homes for a month – by comparison in size, the core of the first hydrogen bomb was no bigger than a bowling ball.
We know how to use nuclear fusion in hydrogen bombs, but so far we haven’t been able to harness it for more civilized purposes.
